Open-source coding agent Cline rolled out v3.5 with native Model Context Protocol (MCP) dynamic tool integration.
Cline (@cline) says it has finished migrating all ~11 million users of the Cline VS Code extension onto a new SDK harness built for open-weights models. Task mistake rates dropped from 6.34% to 0.62%; the team calls it their biggest update ever, shipped entirely under the hood.
