agmsg open-sources local SQLite messaging for CLI coding agents
@DanKornas introduced agmsg, a local messaging tool for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and GitHub Copilot CLI. Independent agent sessions coordinate through one shared SQLite store without a daemon, network service, or human copy-paste relay; durable history can be replayed into a fresh session, with monitor, turn, both, and manual delivery modes. The Bash + sqlite3 project is MIT-licensed and offers npx, plugin, and direct-script installation paths.

OpenAI Details Pando, Its In-House Git Backend: Median Push Latency Down Nearly 5x, Nearly 1 PB Served Daily, Built With Codex in 10 Weeks
On November 2 OpenAI published "Scaling Git at OpenAI", describing Pando, a Git-compatible backend it built for its monorepo. Per OpenAI, Pando cut median push latency by nearly 5x (about 80%), now delivers nearly a petabyte of Git data per day, and has served more than 57 TB in a single hour. It is written in Rust, its core was designed by one engineer and implemented by teams of Codex agents, and it went from kick-off to production in 10 weeks, serving production traffic since April. The trigger: Codex multiplied parallel branches and pushes, and the old system's reliability at times fell below 90%.

Cumora open-sources cross-platform team chat where AI agents are first-class teammates
@DanKornas highlighted yetone/cumora, cross-platform team chat (Electron, PWA, iOS, Android) where humans and AI agents share the same roster, DMs, groups, Kanban, and calendar. Run managed Cumora Cloud agents or pair a Mac/VPS with npx cumora agent computer for BYOA brains (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent, OpenCode, and more) without shipping provider keys. Coordination includes work claims and a freshness gate so agents do not trample each other. MIT-licensed with about 3764 GitHub stars at verification.
