How it works

macOS is native Swift 6/SwiftUI with a notch-hugging NSPanel and zero third-party deps. Hooks (nb-hook / coucou-hook) forward Claude Code events over a Unix socket or named pipe; if Coucou is not running the hook exits immediately and never blocks the CLI. Windows/Linux share a Tauri 2 app. Third-party agents can set coucou_agent for their own pill (docs/AGENTS.md); full PermissionRequest cards are Claude Code–first.
