The Gemini API now lists id antigravity-preview-09-2026. It is not a new Pro/Flash model but the Antigravity managed-agent endpoint: Linux sandbox with code execution, files, and browser, defaulting to Gemini 3.8 Flash. Google-affiliated Philipp Schmid confirmed it is the Gemini API agent harness, with more details expected later this week.
Google AI Studio launched an updated Managed Agents harness in the Gemini API. antigravity-preview-09-2026 is live in the Interactions API and AI Studio, giving agents isolated Linux execution, filesystem tools, web search, persistent environments, and MCP connectivity. The release also adds Files and Credentials APIs so developers can move artifacts between turns and connect external services without putting secrets in the model context.
TestingCatalog reports Google Gemini Business now supports custom MCP server connections so agents can attach private data and internal tools. The post also asks how soon consumer Gemini will get the same.
